COURSE INFORMATION

In the production class we will go over the essentials of mobile music production, using the Digital Art Workstation known as BeatMaker 3. This class will also encourage each individual, to discover their gift in creating. My goal is for the course to be a 1week period of time, where they are able to navigate BeatMaker 3 and learn how to create music even if they are on their own. After the week of classes, I desire to have a showcase where they are able to invite family and friends to hear what they have created. Following the showcase I will setup folders for each student to be able to access what they have created. I look forward to having 5 new students enroll in the Genuine Life Production course for the next session.

Metronome BPM & Timing

Drum Placement

Elements of Production: Percussion (Drums) String Instruments (Guitar, Bass, Violin) Synth Instruments (electric or computer generated sounds can include drums) and vocals

Importing & Exporting Songs

Chords and Scales

Music Sequencing

Quantizing

Sound Design

Sampling & Editing Samples
